Central Baptist Hospital is committed to being a leader in clinical research. We are dedicated to providing the latest innovations and newest therapies in a community-based setting. We are working to improve the lives of our patients.
Central Baptist established the Clinical Research Center (CRC) in 1999. The CRC employs clinical research coordinators who are experts in a variety of clinical areas. More than 40 physicians currently serve as investigators or co-investigators on research projects at Central Baptist Hospital. Our research staff works closely with the patients and physicians who take part in research. Participation in clinical trials is completely voluntary. Our staff and physicians are available to answer questions at any time.
The Clinical Research Center participates in numerous research trials. Some trials involve the study of a new medication, treatment or a medical device. The Institutional Review Board (IRB) is a diverse group of people who reviews each study that is coordinated by the CRC and ensures patient safety at Central Baptist Hospital.
