Breast Cancer
In the US, breast cancer remains the most common cancer in women. Over 190,000 new cases of invasive breast cancer and over 62,000 new cases of in situ (non-invasive) breast cancer are diagnosed in women each year. Breast cancer can also occur in men with just over 10% of all breast cancer cases occurring in men each year.

Central Baptist Hospital is a leader in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Of the nearly 2,800 Kentucky women diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009, 320 or 11% were diagnosed &/or received treatment at Central Baptist.
